How to fill it
Fill 1 values. The tool solves the rest.
On the tool screen, Calc is the working sheet. Presets stores values you reuse. Reference is the formula, assumptions, and provenance below.
Formula
PB = 1 / Kp; I_rate = 1 / Ti; D_rate = 1 / TdInputs
| Name | Unit |
|---|---|
| Kp (optional) | 1 |
| Proportional band (optional) | % |
| Integral time Ti (optional) | s |
| Integral rate (optional) | Hz |
| Derivative time Td (optional) | s |
| Derivative rate (optional) | Hz |
Outputs
| Name | Unit |
|---|---|
| Kp (hero result) | 1 |
| Proportional band | % |
| Integral time Ti | s |
| Integral rate | Hz |
| Derivative time Td | s |
| Derivative rate | Hz |
Diagnose
This tool does not attach diagnose observations.
Assumptions
- Fill any independent pair. Unfilled pairs are omitted. Not a tuner.
Provenance
- PB is a fraction of the normalized unit (50% → Kp = 2). Some vendors use PB% = 100/Kp with a 0–100 scale — same number if PB is entered in %.
