Tools is the kit. Calculators are part of Fieldeng. They are not the product.
Find a tool
The tab has three views:
- All — grouped by category. Category marks use the same signal colors as this docs site.
- Job — tools for the domains you enabled in Settings.
- Favorites — tools you starred.
Search matches name and formula.
A tool can belong to more than one domain. The calculator reference groups every tool by domain.
Calc, Presets, Reference
On a tool screen:

| Calc | Inputs, hero result, diagnose observations. |
| Presets | Stored input sets. Some shipped values are examples. Verify them before you rely on them. |
| Reference | Formula, assumptions, provenance. Same text as the calculator pages here. |
Fill from Field
When a field is scanable, you can send a confirmed camera or Field reading into it. You still confirm camera values.
Save the result to a site. Without a site, it is a notepad entry.
Diagnose
If the tool has diagnose, observations appear under the result. They are context. They do not pass or fail a structure. See Diagnose.
