Phone

On Field, choose Phone. Then pick a mode.

Level

Lay the phone on the work. Level reads inclination from the accelerometer.

Hold still if the vial asks you to. Review the angle. Save it to the site.

Compass

Point the phone at a heading. Compass uses the magnetometer.

Watch for metal and nearby current. They can pull the heading. Review, then save.

Point

Point marks a location with GPS.

1. Wait for a fix, or tap refresh.
2. Review the coordinates and accuracy.
3. Save to an existing site, or name a new site.

If there is no fix, Fieldeng does not invent one. Use Number or a map mark instead.
