Field is the capture desk. Pick a method, confirm the value. Location and asset are optional.

Methods

| Wi-Fi | Scan and sample Wi-Fi. |
| BLE | Sample a Bluetooth device. |
| Cell | Sample the cellular radio. |
| LAN | Sample the local network. |
Kind and units
Number capture uses kind chips (Voltage, Current, Distance, and the rest). The unit follows Settings, unless you change it on that field.
After capture
The reading is a record. It can name a location, an asset, both, or neither. GPS on the record is where the observation happened, not the asset's identity. From there you can run a tool or leave the number on the record.
