Field is the capture desk. Pick a method, confirm the value, file it on a site.
Capture happens on the Field tab. Pick a site first. Then pick a method.
Methods
| Method | What it does |

| Phone | Level, Compass, Point. On-device sensors. |
| Camera | Photograph a display, gauge, or plate. You confirm the number. |
| Number | Type or speak a value. |
| Note | A field note on the site. |
| Wi-Fi | Scan and sample Wi-Fi. |
| BLE | Sample a Bluetooth device. |
| Cell | Sample the cellular radio. |
| LAN | Sample the local network. |
Kind and units
Number capture uses kind chips (Voltage, Current, Distance, and the rest). The unit follows Settings, unless you change it on that field.
After capture
The reading belongs to the site. From there you can run a tool or leave the number on the record.
