Assumptions

Workpiece lying flat on the saw table.

Provenance

Verified against common crown charts: 90° corner / 38° spring → miter ≈ 31.6°, bevel ≈ 33.9°. Spec’s sin(C/2)/tan(S) form does not match those saw settings.
